Suffolk University

Veterans Upward Bound is a grant from the US Department of Education.  While VUB is a national program, with some states hosting up to five different VUB programs, VUB @Suffolk University is the only VUB program in Massachusetts!

Because VUB is a grant, we are not an incorporated department of Suffolk University.  Rather, we are "hosted" by Suffolk University and the funding for any and all services that VUB provides is funded by the US Department of Education.

​We are grateful to Suffolk University for the space, resources, and support of VUB, but want to stress that veterans in our program:

• Are not Suffolk Students while enrolled in our program
• Do not need to attend Suffolk University after completion of the program
• Are not guaranteed acceptance to Suffolk University upon completion of the program.
